Review of Mazaya

I received a gift from my freind bought from Mazaya and I went to one of their shops to change it because it does not suite me but they refused to change it because I do not have a gift receipt. I gave them the date it was bought and asked them to check on their system but in vain. I am wondering what I am supposed to do now with the perfume and why I cant change it even if I do not have a receiptt though they can get the proof on their system.
